What I am about to say might make you think that I am either mad, on drugs, drunk, delusional, lying, or exaggerating. But I promise to recount everything exactly as I have I heard them.
There's a country that you might not have heard of. It's a heavenly nation which is 2200km long, wide and even high. It's surrounding walls are 65m thick and they are made of jasper. The sun doesn't shine in this country, because the one who created the sun is the source of light in that place. It never sees night. The Kingdom of God is heavy with the presence and glory of Him. It's citizens were sinners here on earth, but they were made clean by God's blood. The King will "wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." [Revelation 21:4]
When Jesus came, he said; "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the good news."
It's like you are walking....and you turn around, and the Kingdom of God is right behind you.
Here [youtube vid] it says: So think of Heaven and Earth as different dimensions that can overlap in the same exact space. And that Jesus is creating all these little pockets of 'heaven' in earth.
People I know who I trust, and myself have been in these pockets of heaven. And this everything I promise to not exaggerate, and recount them exactly as I have heard them, or witnessed or experienced.
1. In Revelation [last book of the bible], when John sees God, he "feel at his feet as though dead." I was talked to someone at the SoulPurpose sleepover last year. He was in Yr 12 and he told me that his parents were missionaries but he told me he was just...neutral to his parent's faith. So they asked him if he wanted to go to some missionary trip overseas, and so he went to just see how it was. He said that one night, God revealed a glimpse of His glory and my friend said he just fell face flat onto the floor, and that he thought, in that moment that he was going to die. That's all I remember from what he said, but I think that he felt he was going to die because of holy fear, because God is to be feared.
2. My partner leader in SoulPurpose (<3 her!! ) said that her church had some missionary trip to a developing country. It was at night, and there were groups all praying and that she said in one of the groups, someone who had legs of different lengths was healed; as in, God healed him and that the people in that group, actually saw his shorter leg grow longer. Here are also other instances: Healing on the streets, more healing on the streets.
3. During worship at camp, one of my friends, who before did not know anything about Jesus, or God or His Word, CAME and saw Jesus there, right in the room. He took her to flower fields, and Paris, where it was somewhere where she wanted to go. She saw Him in the room and she said for Him to dance, and He did, behind the drum kit.
4. The pastor at the camp said that during one of the worship nights, this guy just was laughing on the floor for 3 hours straight. Not exaggerating, but actually ROFLing, because he saw as more of God's children were coming back to Him, or even taking one step closer to Him, he saw that Jesus was actually just laughing out of pure joy, just so delighted, that all His children, which he was crucified for were coming back to Him, wanting him to be in their heart
5. One of my North Sydney friend's friend, at worship at camp was at the beginning of the night doubtful if this whole God thing was even real. So she was just like...sceptical of this. But that night, the way that the pastor, recounting what happened, said that the glory was just so heavy on her that night, that she was just lying on the floor for more than three hours. She couldn't get up because God's glory is just so immense, and vast, and just...mindblowing. And when she did get up, her friends helped her up to go to the bathroom, and even then, she was staggering.
6. Worship at camp: so everyone is just singing, or talking to God, or just doing whatever they do with God, and I hear this guy's voice, shouting out- I quote- : "WHAT THE HECK GOD!!" Then something along the lines of "YOUR ARMY NEVER ENDS, WHAT THE HECK, IT'S SO BIG," and I heard him like laughing in incredibility. The next day he shared that he saw God's army coming out of the clouds and it was just endless. And that he saw, that while we were worshiping, a shield-force thing surrounding the campsite we were in, kind of like in the last battle in Harry Potter 7.
7. At camp: God just embraced me. And honestly, it was just the best place to be, hands down. It was indescribable, and just- no words. He also gave me so much joy, just pure unadulterated joy that night and He was laughing, and I laughed the hardest and longest I have ever laughed. Pure joy.
So that's just some of the little pockets of heaven here on earth I have seen/witnessed/heard/experienced. And that you might think I'm crazy, and that these things could never happen. But let me ask you, if God submitted to these laws of physics or chemistry or whatever, then would He be God? No. These are miracles, supernatural, things that don't, can't happen normally, here on Earth.
But He's God, and the Kingdom of God is right at your hand.
